(she/her/hers)

Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider

You’re tired of feeling anxious, fearful, trapped, or “stuck.” You know there’s more to life and you want a guide to help you move forward towards health.

You’re in the right place.

I understand. I’ve been there.

I’ve talked with hundreds of others who’ve been there too. There’s a way forward, and I can help you find your unique path.

Create the healthy life you deserve. Together, we can discover your potential for healing.

I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, and aiding people on the path to recovery. My approach is holistic, with a focus on the total person: mind, body and soul. Therapy with me isn’t just platitudes and talking about your problems. You’ll receive support, genuine understanding, and clear steps to help you reach your goals. You’ll walk away with strategies that you can keep using for the rest of your life.

I work with clients using a variety of evidenced based strategies, including:

EMDR

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Spiritual direction and values clarification.

Narrative Therapy

More importantly, I seek to empower clients to develop new, healthy habits and build strength and resilience. If you’ve “tried everything” and still feel stuck, contact me. I’m confident you have the tools to succeed and I can help you uncover them.

My guiding principles

Resilience

Everyone has problems, but each of us also has strengths. I help you discover what's “going right” and how to build on your unique strengths and resources.

Compassion

Every person is worthy of compassion and has the capacity to give compassion to themselves and to others. I help you to experience compassion and direct this care towards yourself.

Safety

Making changes involves risk and vulnerability. I create a safe space and possess the professional skills to guide you in making positive change at the pace and in the ways that are right for you.

Progress

Having a safe space to vent and be heard is important, but therapy with me involves creating goals and developing the skills you need to achieve them. I want you to leave therapy with tangible results.
